Mission prayer lineCanada We need to remember that this country of ours is part of God's mission field. The needy all around us. Sometimes they are obvious, like the homeless and displaced people who can be seen on the streets of almost every big city, but what about those who are not so obvious - the shy, the lonely, the depressed? They may just be our next door neighbours, or sitting beside us in church on Sunday. We are the people of God and should be praying for each other on a regular basis. We can look around our own neighbourhood and church, systematically taking each one of our brothers and sisters to the Lord, asking for His strenght, guidance, wisdom and comfort- He knows what each one needs. LOVE
Colossians 1:28
We proclaim Him admonishing & teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.

Our Library
The Library at First Baptist Church is home to more than 1500 hard and soft cover books. There is something for every age group as well as Concordances and Reference books. There is a good selection of video's as well. Our Library is under the able guidance of librarians Judy Loach, Pat Horner and Linda Vernon.
