Mission prayer lineHaiti/Chile While we're still praying for the many desperate situations in Haiti, Baptist around the world are also being urged to pray for the South American country of Chile following the massive earthquake that hit the country in the early hours of Sat., February 27. Please pray that food and water relief will be prompt and effective and that medical supplies will be made available to those in the most desperate need. Rwanda The new school year resumed in February for the children of Rwanda, but the Godwins tell us that although school itself is free, the cost of uniforms renders many children unable to attend. Not only that, but Rwanda is switching the language of teaching from French to English - and they are in a hurry to do so. All the members of the Godwin family are bi-lingual, but for the majority - teachers as well as students - the new legislation leaves them ill-equipped to move forward. Please pray for those who must struggle to learn English while at the same time trying to absorb their study materials.

Radio MinistryOur Service is broadcast live on CJTK 103.5 FM, Sundays at 11:00am Radio Program LISTEN TO " PASTOR'S CORNER " Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. on our local Christian Radio station CJTK 103.5 fm This radio program has the capability to reach 60,000 people daily in North Bay area with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has been well received in the community. In the near future, with CRTC approval, a more powerful tower will be constructed and the number of potential listeners will increase dramatically and even reach into parts of Quebec. "Pastor's Corner" is the only live Christian program available in the North Bay area and features a variety of things such as: Christian music, live interviews and testimonies of God's involvement and grace in the lives of people and events relating to North Bay. Teaching and discussing Bible centered topics is central to the program. We believe in the power of God's Word through radio. We ask that you prayerfully consider supporting this program financially either with a one time gift, weekly, monthly or on a yearly basis. Our total budget is $ 6,000.00 for the year.
