Mission prayer lineCanada We need to remember that this country of ours is part of God's mission field. The needy all around us. Sometimes they are obvious, like the homeless and displaced people who can be seen on the streets of almost every big city, but what about those who are not so obvious - the shy, the lonely, the depressed? They may just be our next door neighbours, or sitting beside us in church on Sunday. We are the people of God and should be praying for each other on a regular basis. We can look around our own neighbourhood and church, systematically taking each one of our brothers and sisters to the Lord, asking for His strenght, guidance, wisdom and comfort- He knows what each one needs. LOVE
Colossians 1:28
We proclaim Him admonishing & teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.

Youth Group Who: Grade 8 to OAC When: Friday Nights, 7:30 to 10 :30pm, Sept. to June Where: Sometimes at the church, sometimes at a leaders home, sometimes at other venues. To encourage and promote the Spiritual growth of Christian youth. To witness to non-believers and encourage their acceptance of Jesus Christ as personal Saviour. To make First Baptist Church Youth Group the Friday night activity of choice for our young people and their friends. |
